Redsan Live was definitely the hottest Kenyan artist Live show in the Summer of 2007. From Boston, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Columbus, North Carolina, Dallas, Indianapolis & Michigan the shows were fun, professional, well organized, timely, great sound & above all great fans. NAGI EVENTS would like to thank all the fans, Redsan, artists, promoters, DJs, radio stations, club owners & anyone else who have contributed in any way to the success of the Redsan Live Shows in 2007.  The continued success of the Redsan Live Shows is a true testament to Redsan's talent making him the most sought out performer. From Kenya, Europe, Canada and the US, Redsan shows were consistently great & fresh. The mix of old hits and the new hits from The Pioneer CD added a new twist to the shows. The performances definitely highlighted why Redsan continues to be voted Favorite male Kenyan artist and is no surprise Redsan is also the  Kenyan Artist with the most number 1 hits.

 NAGI EVENTS  Q & A WITH REDSAN

Nagi Events: First of all Nagi Events is honored and thrilled to have planned the 2007 Redsan Live US Tour. How was the Redsan 07 Live Tour and can you shed some light on some of the key cities that you toured in 07?

Redsan: I'm always pleased by the professionalism that Nagi Events puts in place when it comes to doing live concerts. This year’s tour went very well & I enjoyed performing in states that I have never been before. I had the opportunity to hang out with so many beautiful people who attended the shows. That never happens often...lol... Thanks to all my fans that came out, you rock!!

 Nagi Events: Based on our experience in staging Nagi Events we understand folks can’t make it to every Nagi Event for one reason or another. Do you have any messages to your fans out there that may have missed out on the Redsan 07 Live Tour?

Redsan: Well, I just have to say to those who missed the concerts not to worry so much as there is always a next time. Just stay connected to the Nagi Events network for up coming Redsan shows. You can also check out www.nagievents.com for updates.

Nagi Events: The first time ever you had a show at The Venue several years ago we were amazed by your voice during the sound check. It was so rhythmic without any instruments playing and we couldn’t wait for the show. You haven’t missed a beat and LA fans loved your last show.

Redsan: lol.... To all my fans in LA, I just want to say that you guys rocked and I had a nice time performing at The Venue. The venue was off the hook, the mood was crazy in there, the sound system was great and the DJ's were lovely. Nagi Events made the event a success & there was nothing missing in the making. I always enjoy doing my shows in LA.

 Nagi Events: NAGI EVENTS has been getting inquiries on your new CD, (The Pioneer) which is appropriately labeled we must add., what can you tell everyone about the Pioneer CD?

Redsan: What can I say about the pioneer album!! It is the best album I have done so far & I didn't expect it to blow up so much. I knew at some level it would but not so fast and so soon. I thank GOD for all the blessings, all the beautiful people featured in the Pioneer, all the Dutty Soundz crew and the Monalisa producers. Thanks for being a part of the pioneer movement. Nagi Events: There is quite a buzz about the musical video and we can’t wait to watch the Video. How has the video been received by the media and the fans?

Redsan: Wow... the videos in the Pioneer album are the best I have done. The pioneer album started a whole new movement for me as it has penetrated the main stream markets.  The video has been featured in many magazines and TV Shows. My name is now recognized in the dancehall genre thanks to the production and creativity that was put into the production of the album.

 Nagi Events: Speaking of the media, there has been a lot of talk, print etc in the Kenyan media & websites about Kenyan artist performances abroad especially in the US.  What is your take on the media, both positive and negative?

Redsan: Positive and negative go hand in hand in the music business. A professional artist should be aware of the media exaggerations. Artists should always try their best to be positive. After all we are all trying to be better people.

 Nagi Events: Couldn't agree more. There are reports on some media on the horrors sometimes of Kenyan artists who embark on their long life dreams of promoting their music in the US massive market only to be highly disappointed. You’re one artist that has been able to defy the odds as year after year you have produced great shows. What is your word of advice to the young African artists?

Redsan: My word of advise to other artists is simple, be positive and appreciate those who appreciate you.

Nagi Events: In every aspect of biz especially in the entertainment industry, there are lots of critics/false rumors & at Nagi Events we can vouch from our own experiences. How do you respond to some of the critics/false rumors out there?

Redsan: False rumors always fly faster than the truth. People have said things about me that aren't true but I never fight them for speculating or making up stuff to say. I don't have time to fight false accusations and that is just me! If someone doesn’t know me well, they shouldn’t say stuff about me coz they will end up looking foolish. 

Nagi Events: Onto a positive note, you have performed with some great artist i.e. Wayne Wonder, shaggy and many more. What has been you experience and is there an artist or group you would love to perform with?

Redsan: Wow... I thank GOD for the achievements. When I first started music my biggest dream was to some day share a stage with the world’s biggest musicians. I thank GOD for helping me accomplish that dream as I have performed with so many big names out there, Sean Paul. Beenie man, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder, Maxi Priest, Redfox, Redrat, Gregory Isaacs, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. I would however like to share a stage with Jay Z.....lol...

 Nagi Events: You have had so many crowning moments in the entertainment industry and we look forward to many more. What’s next for the King of E. African dancehall?
