"Be There or Hear About it"
Over the years that NAGI Events has been involved in the Rugby event, we have heard the repeated complaints from patrons about why all the promoters don’t get together and have one party so that it can be easier for folks to decide where to go and to avoid splitting up the crowd.
We are here to let you know the truth. There is no such thing. As much as we would like to see such a thing happen because it makes logical and business sense, it is no easy task. It takes a lot to bring together numerous groups with different ideologies and business acumen to a consensus. (Please note that no real attempts were made by the group in question). It also takes total transparency and accountability; two qualities not always easy to find in some of these “promoters”. As the consumer, you should also be careful what you ask for & don’t buy into this one party sham that is misusing the current events in Kenya for monetary gain. The scam is a faint attempt to eliminate competition and has nothing to do with unity but will only result in sub-standard and overpriced events for you. Moreover competition is healthy in any business and the consumer is usually the beneficiary in the form of superior products and services.
